Nathan Chen is what the American dream is all about. Working hard and chasing his goals for years together, Nathan has gone on to accomplish everything he set out for.

Being an Olympic champion is every athlete’s foremost dream and American figure skater, Nathan Chen, has already accomplished that. Though it didn’t happen overnight, but rather after years and years of tireless work. However, winning the Olympic gold wasn’t the only dream Nathan had as a child.
A dream come true for Nathan Chen
There’s no doubt that Stars on Ice is certainly one of the most anticipated figure skating events of the year. However, as a child, the Olympic champion Nathan Chen didn’t have the privilege of attending the gala event. He said, “I never actually got the chance to go to a Stars on Ice because my family couldn’t afford tickets. But I knew, I always knew about Stars on Ice. I knew how big of a deal it was. It was so cool to be able to join the cast.”

Well, now the champion is performing at the Stars on Ice Tour. What could be more magical than witnessing what you have always dreamed of happening right in front of you?
When asked about his future plans, Nathan said, “I am not entirely sure yet. But right now, my next thing is to do Stars on Ice and university.”

Nathan is a Yalie
Apart from being the best figure skater in the world, Nathan Chen is also a major in Statistics and Data Science at the Connecticut school. He got enrolled at Yale University in 2018.

Ever since he got home from Beijing, the champion is very eager to head back to the University. Seems like, after a long, long time, he’ll finally be able to reap the benefits of college life as well.
