Cowboys put their lives at risk every time they climb on the back of a raging bull. From the moment they mount the behemoth beasts, till the moment they are brutally bucked off, all bets are off. Even after they taste the dust, safety is not guaranteed in bull riding. The angry stomps of the bull can prove to be just as dangerous. But what to do when one more shows up?
After years of practice, and tapping into unrivaled courage, these bull riders have somehow mastered the art of controlling the raging bovines. If you ask cowboys, they will talk about taming one bull at a time with an air of nonchalance. But what if they were faced with the threat of two angry bulls instead of one?

A cowboy was faced with a similar situation at a rodeo once. In a trending video that was posted by the ‘Wrangler Network’ YouTube channel about six months back, the bull rider was seen battling circumstances that would be anyone’s worst nightmare. The video starts out with a usual sight at the rodeo. As the gates to the chutes open, an indignant bull stomps out with the rider on its back.
The bull starts trying to buck off the cowboy in all its ferocious glory, and the cowboy holds on for dear life. A standard turn of events at a rodeo, right? But then, things take a turn for the worse. While giving a performance that any jump-racing horse would be proud of, another bull vaults over the fences of the chutes. The second bull then starts charging toward the bull-riding cowboy but narrowly missed. The bull rider gets bucked off the bull he’s mounting and then proceeds to run to safety.
The second bull just continues to walk around the dusty arena, as the first bull is still seen bucking in the background. As per the video, it seems that the second bull was simply tired of being on the sidelines and wanted to take a stroll in the open air. Fortunately, no one got hurt by the runaway bull this time. However, the luck is bound to run out sometime. A similar incident took place at Redding Rodeo once, and several were injured.
Many were injured at a bull riding event as a bull jumped the fence
It was during May 2022, when several spectators were cheering in the stands as the Redding Rodeo was in full swing. Redding Rodeo is one of the most popular rodeos in Northern California. The crowd was enjoying the excitement that comes with any rodeo, unaware of the fact that things were about to turn grim very soon. And it so happened that a bull jumped the fence and escaped the arena.

According to a report by ‘The Guardian’, the bull charged through the VIP seating area, and caused a rampage in its wake. The audience struggles to escape the fury of the bull, and at least 6 people got injured in the scuffle, including a 16-year-old high school sophomore. Thankfully, the injuries were declared to be minor. The bull fled the arena, ran across the parking lot, and was finally caught about half a mile from the venue.
