Defeating talented bull riders like JC Mortenson and Ky Hamilton, Tristen Hutchings won the Red Bluff Round-Up, creating history. Scoring 90 points in the contest, this win will help Hutchings step up his rankings in the top 20 in the PRCA rodeo standings. Red Bluff Daily News gave all the details of this marvelous victory.

Post his win, Hutchings thanked LE farms for their tremendous support. Hinting that the ride wasn’t perfect, Hutchings recounted how watching videos helped him prepare for the contest and his experience participating in this biggest rodeo contest. He also held nothing back about his goal after this spectacular win.

In a conversation after the competition, Hutchings admitted, “I was 90 points but it wasn’t one of my prettiest rides.” Continuing, he added, “Sometimes you just got to grit it out and keep them from cutting off and it was working and I just kept doing it..” Hutchings has competed with more than 700 competitors in this contest, as reported by Red Bluff Daily News.

Later, Hutchings related that he enjoyed being a part of this rodeo competition though the ride was wild and out of control. He further described the arena where there were two sections for bulls. Afterwards, he elaborated, “So, there’s like 50-60 rough stock riders there cheering each other on. It’s really cool.”

Post this, the Monteview bull rider hinted that his aim was to return to the NFR in Idaho and win the gold buckle. The Wrangler National Finals rodeo is one of the most important and richest rodeo competitions, held every year in December. Indicating that this win will help to keep him on his toes, Hutchings implied that he needed to maintain focus to reach this goal. While Hutching’s recent victory amazed thousands of fans, he wasn’t the only one to astonish bull-riding enthusiasts with his performance. A young 19-year-old rider once impressed bull riding fans with his performance at a PBR event.

Participating in the Professional Bull Riders Unleash The Beast Wrangler Invitational in Montana, Turgeon had to initially ride on the bull Death Warrant for the first round. However, the judges later decided against this pairing due to technical issues. Later, Turgeon was given one more chance, to ride on the bull Tijuana Two-Step. Giving it his all, Turgeon confidently rode on this bull past the metal chutes, amidst the excited screams of fans.

Witnessing his inspiring ride and brave efforts, the judges gave him a perfect score of 90 in the first round. This performance also helped him to attain 29 Unleash the Beast (UTB) points.
