Everybody loves an underdog. Rookies are the proven underdogs of any sport. No one expects a rookie to perform immediately when they descend. But when they do, it is a sight to behold. The sports world has seen many rookies come and go, but some have surprised and impressed the world with their penchant for the sport. Larry Bird, for example, changed the face of the Boston Celtics right away after he was signed.
Mark Fidrych changed the face of Major League Baseball and led the Detroit Tigers to new heights as soon as he arrived. When the 18 years old LeBron James was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, their lives changed for the best. Among the rookies who surprised the world with their entry, has arrived a new name- the cowboy Tristin Parker.
