The magazine for 2015’s issue embraced the equestrian theme for their newest collection and the then-rookie model couldn’t have been a better choice. 6 years into her debut and, aged 20, Solveig posed for Sports Illustrated magazine for a theme very familiar to her.
The model reportedly grew up on a horse farm and took up horse riding at the age of three. Throughout the shoot, one can witness flaunting her equestrian roots as she poses with the equines.
“We’ve been reminiscing about that glorious golden photoshoot from eight years ago, and in that vein, we wanted to share our favorites from the occasion.” the sports magazine wrote.

The famed publication takes pride in embracing diversity. Featuring women across all ages and backgrounds, the editor-in-chief said, “I believe that real change comes from within,” “That’s what I’ve been trying to do in my role at SI Swimsuit: to look inward — grow, evolve, learn and unlearn to better bring all women’s voices to our brand.”
The publication’s issue this year runs without a theme to show that women can live without any limitations. The issue followed each model across the world to portray her in a location befitting her beauty.
