Bill Gates’ eldest daughter, Jennifer Gates, has been a known equestrian for most of her life. After starting riding at six, the enthusiast hasn’t looked back. From the North American Showjumping championship to the under-25 Grand Prix, Jennifer remained persistent. However, her simple childhood inspiration has led the star to juggle two of her passions at the same time.

Balancing her medicinal as well as equestrian interests, Jennifer has been leading a fulfilling life. Having enrolled in a medical school 4 years back, the journey has taken Jennifer into the next phase of her life. And as she prepares for the same, the celebrated equestrian has a little throwback to share with her fans online.

Jennifer Gates Shares a Throwback Moment

While Jennifer found her love for horses at an early age, she also had a newer interest instilled in her at about the same time. A conversation on child mortality at her family’s dinner table, and her childhood pediatrician, inspired Jennifer to pursue medicine. Following her interest, Jennifer bagged a degree in Human Biology at Stanford University. Upon the completion of the same in 2018, Jenn enrolled at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. in 2019. Now, as she graduates from there to receive professional training, Jenn has a moment to share from her initial days on the journey.

On Sunday, Jennifer Gates took to her Instagram story to post a picture with her friend from the school. The post had the two of them posing in their white coats. Captioning the story, Jennifer wrote, “Four years ago at our white coat ceremony.” Jennifer was back again for the white coat ceremony early this month as she transitioned to the next phase.

While Jennifer has had a hustling career in medicine, she has never let go of her passion for horses. With an interesting venture into medicine, Jenn has also created a solid base in her equestrian career.

The Equestrian Knows to Balance Her Career

Prior to updating her story on her medical journey, Jenn also shared a moment with her horse. She posted an adorable picture of her beloved equine Paris. The equestrian said the horse was happy and home after a show weekend at the Old Salem Farm event. Paris has been one of Jennifer’s beloved horses who joined the stables recently. Following the equine’s acquisition, Jenn competed with Paris at the Spruce Meadows post-pregnancy hiatus, not loosening her grip on equitation.

After completion of her studies at Standford, Jenn even took some time off to focus on her equestrian career. During the course, Jenn bagged multiple top 10 placings, including the Spruce Meadows and the Longines Global Champions Tour. Besides her competing career, Jenn has a constant foot in the equestrian industry. The horse-girl owns the equestrian organization, Evergate Stables incurring notable equines and equestrians alike.

As she heads forward, Jennifer also aims to represent Team USA at national cup events. The 27-year-old as of today, isn’t just an equestrian or a medicine practitioner but also a mother, a family girl, and an entrepreneur.
