Be it a kid taking the first step at dressage or a grandma excelling at equestrian vaulting; the enthusiasts are always present to cheer on and lend support for both equines and the athletes alike. Today, an example of the community’s support takes center stage yet again.

Life is not always kind to people while dealing cards. But with the right support, anything can be made a little easier to deal with. One such stance came to the front as the aspiring equestrian Dylan Ward faced a hurdle. It wasn’t just one team but multiple hands that helped the youngster walk towards his dream. The unity and unwavering support touched the hearts of hundreds.

Young equestrian receives a message of support

Dylan Ward is a young and aspiring equestrian hailing from Britain. He has been dealing with cancer treatment but ardently loves the sport; dressage, more specifically. The story of Dylan was spotted by trainer Craig Messenger and the team at Aster Horses. The organization invited the youngster to their yard to watch them train and meet the horses.

As the trainer shared the story and said that he was looking for some ‘lovely goodies’ for Dylan, the post received a warm response from an Olympian. Charlotte Dujardin is a British dressage rider and stands entitled to multiple World and Olympic champion titles. The 38-year-old rider, over the news of Dylan, used her platform to extend all help and support that she could.

“It?s so kind of Craig Messenger and his team to do this for Dylan,” Charlotte wrote in response to Craig’s post. The Olympian further extended an invitation, calling Dylan to be present at the British Dressage National Convention. Charlotte added that Dylan could watch her team talk about dressage and even meet Valegro, the horse before his appearance. “As well as receive a little goody bag for you and your horses,” she added.

Charlotte’s gesture was nothing short of extraordinary. An extended hand in a time of need is always welcomed and appreciated. With her offer, Charlette reached the many spectators on the platform.

Community extends love and warmth

The Olympian’s heartwarming gesture reached out to the youngster’s mother with hope. “Charlotte Dujardin I can?t even tell you how excited this has made Dylan to see!! Thank you so much for your kind words, and absolutely amazing offer he would so love to meet you and Valegro!! I am Dylan?s mum and I?m so unbelievably proud of him,” Jessica wrote, grateful for the gesture. Jessica, however, wasn’t the only mother that the post resonated with.

A user, whose son went through a similar situation, sent her appreciation and encouragement to the two parties. “This is absolutely so special! My son had cancer last year and they go throu hell it?s so hard on their little bodies! This will mean the world to Dylan in such hard times. Keep fighting Dylan you?ve got this buddy'” she wrote. The post also received a response from trainer Craig saying ‘thank you’,?with multiple hearts.

Charlette’s offer also crossed boundaries to unite the community and welcome the support. One wrote, “What a lovely thing to do for this young lad. Wishing Dylan all the best from NZ.” Another added, “What a lovely offer. Sending you love from Cape Town, South Africa, Dylan.”

Along with support for Dylan came some appreciation for the veteran. “So kind of you, this brought a few tears ?. What a wonderful gesture?Charlotte. Cancer can be so cruel,”?a user applauded. Hearts and love poured in for both the parties involved for the incredible moment created. Dylan, who is photographed with two ponies and a lovely smile, is no short of an inspiration.
