Equestrian estates are some of the most beautiful places in the world to live. With lush greenery, spacious rooms, and enough space for your horses to stay in, they provide a brilliant living experience for the people who stay in there. Thus, if a great equestrian mansion is in someone’s price range, they must explore buying it. One such mansion has now become available in the posh area of Malibu.

James Veres, a movie producer who also starred in Wonder Woman and produced the 2005 film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, is all set to sell his four-acre property. Located on California’s Pacific Coast Highway, the price for this equestrian estate has been listed at $17.3 million. The mansion was built in 1963 but was bought by Veres in 1994.

He bought the place alongside his ex-wife, Ursula Karven, for $940,900. Both of them are now based outside of the United States, which is why the place has been put on sale even though this once used to be their main house. This is a pretty big deal as the property is pretty popular in that area.

Oppenheimer Group’s Emma Herman, who currently has the listing, wrote in an email to Robb Report saying, “This is the first time in 30 years this property is on the market.” Herman also said that the fact that this place is so close to the beach makes it even more attractive to the buyers.

The equestrian estate starts with a gated entry, which opens to a dirt road leading to the entrance of the house. This opens to a five-bedroom house, which has contrasting stone and steel features, giving the place a majestic feel. The 3500-sq. ft. property then has polished dark wood flooring with a white ceiling in the living room. Then, the house also boasts of a fireplace, glass doors, and a brilliant view of the Pacific Ocean. Thus, this place seemingly has it all.

Other features of the Malibu Equestrian Estate

The equestrian estate’s gourmet kitchen is surrounded by an island. Everything is there in the kitchen, including the gas range stovetop and dual ovens. The primary suite of the place also brings into the focus the grounds and the coastline of the place. All of this can be experienced in a comfortable sitting area at the suite. There is also a great place for the horses to stay, as the property has a 31-stall stable very close to it.

Many amenities are present for the horses, which include corrals, a riding arena, and a dressage ring. The equestrian estate is also close by to Backbone Trail, a 67-mile course in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is a windy and beautiful area for you to take your horses there. Thus, the Malibu estate definitely looks like one of the best places to be around.

This is why it’s price has risen heavily over the years, with the median price clocking in at $3.5 million in the third quarter of this area, according to Miller Samuel reports. Thus, the valuation is nine times more than the one in 1996. This proves that the place is definitely worth the investment and should be considered by people looking at estates with this price range.
