His equestrian career spanned over 35 years, but Frankie Dettori has a penchant for television too. From 2002 to 2004, he featured on TV as a team captain on A Question of Sport. So, a little experience gained there. Fast forward to now, he whole-heartedly gave his all to the reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. But he’s not depressed about his poor luck.

Despite back-to-back stellar performances showcasing survival skills, the 52-year-old was the first to exit the jungle. However, after the King of the Jungle was announced, he took pride in his survival strategies and ability to fight adversities. In a recent post that surfaced, Dettori’s happy notes seemed communicable.

Frankie Dettori leaves a note of gratitude

Sam Thompson won the title of the Jungle, and his Made in Chelsea fans can’t keep calm. In similar notes, even his ex-camp mates can’t contain their excitement. Resorting to his X handle, the British flat racing Champion Jockey Dettori wrote, We survived and got ourselves out of there! Loved it, @imacelebrity.The picture featured all the contestants, with Sam in the middle, holding up the trophy. 

Another of Frankie Dettori’s post has an exclusive selfie of Sam and himself. As the red-haired star wrapped his arms around the older camp mate, both smiled despite one winning and the other losing. In another video that surfaced, the British Jockey panned the camera around the room featuring all the contestants with their families.

Screaming, Here we go, we all losers“, while everybody burst out in laughter. He capped off, saying, With love from the losers.Having ridden winners of Group 1 races, Dettori had lived a luxurious life. But he bid goodbye to British racing, out to explore the US circuit.

Dettori’s last race got him emotional

With the King Of Steal in the Champions Stakes, Dettori concluded his British career-concluding race with £1.3 million in his purse. Leaving all fans teary-eyes, he had said, It’s very hard to explain. I had the same surreal moment when I had my first Group 1 on Mark of Esteem when everything went dark.

As 30,000 fans cheered “O, Frankie Dettori, the 54-year-old felt that he was blessed to have gained such love. He commenced his British riding career in the same way he ended. Now, his fans wait to see him make more winning strides, starting in California.
