Equestrian race history traces back to ancient civilizations. Equestrians have been racing their equines with immaculate skills since its emergence. Some horses have left indelible marks on the tracks, making their trainers and riders proud. On a pleasant Saturday, America witnessed a remarkable Super Derby at Louisiana Downs. One of the most elite races, scheduled in September every year.
Out of all the Equines galloping their way to the top, only one of them came out victorious. As a proud son of a 9-year-old retired horse Cloud Computing, the 3-year-old built hopes up. In a neck-to-neck chase, the significant performances thrilled spectators.
Equestrian race graced by a $213,680 Equine

Lip Chip LLC hosted the Super Derby, with a hope of offering an entertaining afternoon. Big Data gave a phenomenal performance on the track. After months of meticulous training, trainer Michaell Lerman placed his bets right. Sired by Cloud Computing out of the Creative Cause mare Moxie, Big Data captured the first stakes of his career.
Big Data ran his debut race in December, breaking his maiden on April 22. Lerman mindfully decided for him to compete in the Super Derby, looking at it as the greatest opportunity. In a post-race interview, Michael unveiled saying, “He’s a large horse and can be a handful, but (jockey) Emisael (Jaramillo) fits him well.The race unfolded the way we anticipated, and we were thrilled with the outcome.”
Machine Gun has already set the pace on commencement. Not long after, Big Data headed to the ultimate turn and claimed victory with a final time of 1.51.83 at a 1 ¾ length. Immediately after Lerman shipped Big Data, the weather miraculously turned pleasant. Maybe he was a godsent. In the wagering, Big Data qualified as a second choice. Now, he is the owner of a whopping $213,680 with a record 8-3-4.

Besides Big Data, No White Flags (finished the exacta) was also making his debut in the grade 1 stakes. Retired jockey and trainer Carl J. Woodley affirmed satisfaction with his performance. “We were hoping for one more race, but still happy that he finished well in his first stakes effort.”
Owner Kevin Presto always wanted to bring the Super Derby back to the metroplex. Having heard complimentary words from some, he was gleeful beyond imagination.

He thanked the team for constant support and affirmed the contentment of having hosted a festive day. Machine Gun completed the superfacta and behind him was Tin Donegal, Promise Me A Ride and Donegal Arrow.
