In her latest Instagram post, Dujardin promoted the Every Horse Remembered campaign of the organization while also paying tribute to its founder. The campaign aims to explore the significance of horses, in present times as well as during wartime. “Each November, Brooke reflects on the heroic bravery of working horses, donkeys, and mules in the past and present, to honour these animals and give them a life worth living for generations to come.”, Dujardin’s caption read.
The organization was founded by Dorothy Brooke after she witnessed the harsh conditions of “war horses” in Egypt. She established the Old War Horse Memorial to ensure the safety of these horses. The organization is today known after her name Brooke and continues to work for equine welfare. Dujardin has surely done a good act, however, it isn’t the first time.
