USA’s Largest Equestrian Center Concludes Day 3 of Dressage Competition- Here’s The Full Schedule

The World Equestrian Center in Ocala is hosting an exciting week of top-notch horse events. It features the January Dressage competition by Hampton Green Farms. This year’s circuit is even better with new additions. There’s a sixth indoor arena and seven more outdoor arenas for practice and displays. The five-week FEI international show jumping competition is in full swing. Week 3 took place from January 18-21, 2023. It featured the USEF/USDF competition in Indoor Arena 1 & 2.

The 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series promises to captivate audiences with a succession of national-level hunter/jumper competitions. It will extend until March 24, 2024. With anticipation running high, here’s the complete schedule for this month’s upcoming events.

A week of unforgettable equestrian events

Recently, the World Equestrian Center shared an intriguing post on Facebook. While the post featured four women, it was about the schedule of events for the upcoming month. Commencing on Tuesday, January 22, the 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series presents an engaging array of events. The day kicks off with the Ignite Sport Horse Series Seminar from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, delving into exercise physiology for the Olympic disciplines. Moving on to, January 24, the schedule features the World Equestrian Center Ohio Winter Classic #7, showcasing premier hunter and Level 6 jumper competitions throughout the day, followed by an evening performance by Mark Smythe at The Yellow Pony from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

The excitement goes on to Thursday, January 25, with another day of the World Equestrian Center Ohio Winter Classic #7, featuring premier hunter and Level 6 jumper events from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The evening entertainment will continue with Tim Cali McCord at The Yellow Pony from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The action-packed weekend will include events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, culminating with the Ocala Home Show from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday.

2024 Winter spectacular show series Week IV highlights

From January 26th to January 28th, the 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series Week IV will feature the World Equestrian Center Ohio Winter Classic #7, showcasing premier hunter and Level 6 jumper competitions. However, National Croissant Day at Emma’s is on the 26th and 27th.

On the 27th, the Winter Spectacular Show Series promises an array of exciting events. The Ocala Home Show, a free convention and tradeshow featuring a lively Hula Hoop Contest, kicks off the day. Also, there will be a Grand Prix Reception, offering special events in the Hunter/Jumper and Equestrian categories. The highlight of the day will be the $100,000 UF Health Grand Prix, an exhilarating Hunter/Jumper competition.
