Hailing from an athletic family, equestrian icon Anna Buffini decided to forge her own path. He refused to tread on her mother’s volleyball stairs or her father’s soccer dreams. But one thing that tied the three of them together was their inclination towards training and teaching. But the same can’t be said about the other Buffini siblings.
On October 31, Buffini joined Dressage Today OnDemand as the first Resident Trainer. Currently, in San Diego, she is the proud owner of a teaching, training and sales business. So, naturally, she’s always around equines, which has been the case since age 3. But starting at 9, she slowly started to solidify her equestrianism. But Adam and Alex Buffini can’t relate.

Captioning her Instagram reel as, “I think the new hires weren’t entirely truthful on their résumé’s”, the 29-year-old displayed clear dissatisfaction. But the fun side of the story is, the new recruits are none but her siblings. Though Buffini has a worldwide name for her dressage excellence, her brothers are nowhere near equestrianism.

Micaiah Boettner, probably one of her brother’s friends, was the first one up before Alex and Adam Buffini could demonstrate their riding skills. The one with the camera said, “Micaiah first”, and his reply was, “Wait what?” To spice up the situation and to scare his friend more, Adam voiced, “This is gonna be sick. Have you ever seen Seabiscuits?” When the answer came as ‘No’, the Buffini sibling nodded in woe, saying, “They you’re not prepared for this.”
When Anna Buffini helped Micaiah climb on the horse, he seemed excited. But on Adam’s turn next, he had a fun speech awaiting. He screamed, “England will be ours once more!” alongside, “we’ll trample them”. But unlike Micaiah, Adam looked pretty confident saddled on Flynn, and didn’t require Anna’s assistance. Speaking of her, Anna recently made an appearance with the popular rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

NBC invited USA Dressage to make it big at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Among the six dressage athletes, Anna Buffini was someone who was the most noteworthy. So, after the shoot and the promo release, her Instagram story read, “A little bts of the commercial! I think it was so great for our sport to actually be called on to do this commercial.“
Ashley Holzer had lent her Wellington farm for the shoot. Highly impressed with the skills and staff behavior, she had said, “They are incredible and very well organized. They were so polite. They were in and out so quickly and very helpful. It was a great staff.”
