Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs are renowned for contributing to the fast-paced world of technology. Now, their daughters Jennifer Gates and Eve Jobs are mirroring their successful paths in equestrian sports. Both are aced show-jumping competitors who often create buzz due to their shared interests.
However, despite being portrayed as the next generation to carry Microsoft and Apple co-founder’s rivalry, the two seem to uplift one another. As Thanksgiving arrived, a glimpse of their bond was seen on the internet.

Thanksgiving is here and social media platforms are flooded with charming posts of who people are thankful for. In a similar celebratory mood, Jenn shared a picture of her adorable family on their outdoor bench swing on her Instagram. She, her husband Nayel Nassar, and their eight-month-old daughter Leila.

However, what grabbed much attention in their post was Eve Jobs’ sweet words in the comments. She wrote, “Aahhh so much love,” which was liked by Jenn. This eldest daughter of Gates and youngest daughter of late Jobs friendship is often evident off competitive dirt grounds where they compete against one another from time to time.
Not many know, at the Longines Masters show jumping event in Los Angeles both athletes participated when they were merely teens. Back then, Eve said, “Competitions are a really great way to meet people from around the world.” Interestingly, Bill had purchased an $18 million horse farm in the state at Rancho Santa Fe a year back; Eve’s mother bought her a $15M ranch to train. From those days to now, the duo have evolved loads and so has their passion for the sport.

The shared passion for horses
Eve had similar early life experiences as Jenn, with support from her family. Additionally, she was able to balance her academics and her passion for sports really well. When Jenn was just 6 years old, she persuaded her parents to let her take horseback riding lessons from a nearby farm, and from there she discovered her love for horses.

Following that, both Eve and Jenn, who are also Stanford graduates, had the determination to balance their competitive horse-jumping with other commitments. Over the years, their childhood pastime evolved into a career choice that has garnered much praise from the equestrian community and the world alike.
