The Israel-Palestine conflict dates back to the end of the nineteenth century, primarily as a conflict over territory. The recent conflicts overtaking the regions of Israel-Palestine have been a matter of global concern. Prominent celebrities have aligned themselves with these individuals to convey a message along the way. Bill Gates’ equestrian son-in-law, Nayel Nassar, and popular social media figure, Bella Hadid, have taken the pedestal following along.

Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar has consistently voiced his stance since the recent conflict erupted after sudden Hamas attacks in Israel that claimed several lives. In retaliation, Israel carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip leading to several casualties, including women and children. Nayel has stood to vouch for humanity and peace every passing day. On October 26, the equestrian chimed in once again; and this time, to be an ally for Bella Hadid. “QUEEN! Thank You,”?Nayel wrote as he shared a post by Bella earlier on Thursday.

“We must all stand together in defending humanity and compassion – and demanding that our leaders do the same…I stand with humanity, knowing that peace and safety belong to us all,”?a part of the post read. Nayel’s strong presence in the equestrian world has given him a platform to advocate for the humanitarian rights and raise awareness amid this global crisis.

Nayel’s equestrian feats

The 32-year-old equestrian has been a renowned show-jumping professional since early in his career. Nayel internationally competes for his country, Egypt, and has represented his nation on multiple stages. FEI World Cup Finals in 2013, 2014, and 2017 have been some of Nayel’s early achievements. However, the pinnacle of his career could be pointed at his HITS Million performance. Nayel is a three-time winner of the HITS Million and the only rider to ever win the Speed Challenge and Grand Prix at the same Longines Masters event, according to Evergate Stables.

More recently, Nayel added yet another title to his name at the Gran Prix of Tyron. ?A testament to the technicality under the lights last night, Nayel Nassar & Coronado posted the only double clear in the $500,000 @landroverasheville Grand Prix of Tryon, taking the top spot,” a post on his achievement on 16th October read. The equestrian is married to Bill Gates’ eldest daughter and equestrian, Jennifer Gates. The duo has matched stride both on the sports field and while standing up against the global challenge.
