Charlotte Dujardin has had many rumbles with Imhotep, but this will be her first race after she gave to her daughter, Isabelle. Imhotep will also be returning after a break since after the world championships. The Royal Windsor Horse Show is also thrilled to have the Olympian back in the saddle. According to a report by Horse and Hound, the director of the show, Simon Brooks-Ward, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Charlotte back to Royal Windsor Horse Show. With so many of Britain’s top dressage combinations taking part in the Defender CDI4* FEI Dressage it is sure to be a thrilling competition.”

Dujardin’s record at the Windsor race has been an exemplary one. She has won the race thrice, in 2019 on Erlentanz, in 2018 on Mount St John Freestyle, and in 2014 on Uthopia. It seems like Charlotte Dujardin will be feeling right at home when she returns to the Windsor Racecourse, which is where the horse race will be held.
