Ancient Greece lit the Equestrian sports lamp with a hope to witness sparks flying between horses and the riders in battles. This sports in ancient Olympics included chariot racing with high-spirited displays. The horse-rider community advanced decidedly, after going through an oblivion over a long period.  

US Equestrian has an important plan in place as the national administrative body for most Equestrian sports in the US. Targeting the 2024 Olympics, the governing body has announced a major collaboration with a popular corporation. With a hope of seeing better Olympics days, they declared the grant recipient names in recent news. 

The Dutta Corp./USEF lends a helping hand to US Equestrian

The Dutta Corporation founder T Jim Dutta has always cared about horses and their well-being. The domestic horse air shipping company caters to the finest groomers and features state-of-the-art jet stalls. With the kingpin being to serve the horses, the expert horse air transport facilities have gained name. Delivering horses from around the world, Pan American games, FEI World Equestrian Games and Olympic were the major distribution areas of The Dutta Corp. 

Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the US Equestrian heaved a sigh of relief at the grant digits. In the Olympics next year, the Equestrian eventing will commence on 27th July, 2024, drawing the curtains on 6th August. The grants of the Dutta/Corp were awarded to Chin Tonic HS, Boyd Martin, Will Coleman and Feferman B. Considering the history of these American equestrians and their horses, the popular corporation handed them $20,000 each. 

The recipients of the grant have given some celebrated moments in 2023. Will Coleman and his horse Chin Tonic finished 11th in the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event and won the Carolina International CCI4*-S. Simultaneously, Martin and his horse Federman B finished eight in the Luhmuhlen CCI5*-L and won the Tyron International Three-Day Event CCI4*-S. 

In a recent interview, the US Equestrian CEO stated, “The Dutta Corp.’s support for US Equestrian’s eventing programs and Olympic hopefuls is influential in achieving the goal of earning medals on the international stage.”

The Equestrian Olympic history

Before making an official debut, Equestrian sports featured in the 1900 Olympics. The most popular event being Dressage, where women participated for the first time in 1952 Helsinki Games. Dancing to music and galloping their way to victory, women took the A-game forward in the 1964 Olympic games. Showjumping events gained recognition since, with the individual and mixed categories receiving medals.

While the Dutta Corp is humbled to wing these horses, US Equestrian awaits grand completions in the Paris Olympics Games podium.
