The game between Oklahoma Freedom and Missouri Thunder was the last game in Professional Bull Riding Thunder Day’s third day. The team arrived at the arena and the first chance was given to Oklahoma Freedom. They field out their Brazilian bull rider Alisson de Souza for the first ride. His unleash ranking is 76 in the world and has earned $421,000 in his career to date. The professional bull rider was to ride Exodus, the bull with a 91% buck-off percentage. To date, no rider was able to hold on to the bull for eight seconds. The highest time one approached was Casey Roberts Souza’s teammate for 6.74 seconds.

The Oklahoma Freedom wanted its first ride to go perfectly to put pressure on the opponent and take advantage of their mistakes. Souza came knowing the challenge and adjusted himself on the bull in the gate and as the gate opened his ride started.

The bull as expected tried all the skills, moves, and angles to buck off the rider. But, Souza was firm in his hold and belief to get through the eight-second ride and give his team a good start. During the ride right before the whistle, his hat fell off but that didn’t bother the rider who was all focused on his work. He scored an epic 88.25-point ride. This ride had pressure on the opponents who later also gave big rides which led to a tight game.
