Faye O’Hara shares her experience on the accident that changed her life

During this interview with Horse and Hound, O’Hara narrated her experience after a car accident she had when she was 15 years old. O’Hara recounted, “For the first four months, I was so poorly and delusional- I was on ketamine and morphine-didn’t really process what the hell was happening.”  Her ribs were also affected due to the accident and she had to take the support of a wheelchair.

While O’Hara accepted that she would require a helping hand till she made a full recovery, she was sad that she couldn’t follow her equestrian passion for health reasons. However, later, realizing how much she missed riding, O’Hara once again began to ride horses. Galloping on the horse Majestic, O’Hara once again followed her heart. Though she was injured while riding on Majestic, she didn’t quit and continued following her passion for horse riding.
