To be a part of the national team at an international event is always a matter of delight and gratification. Representing the nation is the proudest moment for an athlete and Jessica Springsteen understands it better. In her equestrian career, she represented her country multiple times in which winning the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics was the major highlight.

Bruce Springsteen’s daughter was part of the national team at various Nation’s Cups. This year she was part of the winning jumping team at the 2023 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Series, San Miguel de Allende. Jessica was selected again for the crucial FEI Jumping Nations Cup Finals at Barcelona by the US Equestrian. Recently, her fans shared a glimpse of her participation at the event which was liked by the inline surfers.

Equestrian daughter’s amazing participation

Jessica Springsteen was a part of the five-member US jumping team at the FEI Longines Jumping Nations Cup Finals in Barcelona. This event was important not only because of being a final but also holding one qualification seat for next year’s Paris Olympics. Out of fifteen teams taking part in the finals, six teams were in a battle for qualification and the US was one of the six teams. Jessica Springsteen took part in the first round of the event and completed her ride on her trusted partner Don Juan van de Donkhoeve with four faults in 80.17 seconds. Her score helped the team qualify for the final round.

The fans were excited by Jessica’s performance and posted a short clip of her action at the event. In the clip she is shown riding Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, jumping the bar, and her assistant placing the guards at the horse’s legs Don Juan can be seen participating with his full wardrobe attire. After her round, Jessica Patted her horse on his good run. Unfortunately, the US jumping team fell short of its performance in the finals and lost the qualification berth.

US Jumping teams close finish

After first-round qualification, only two teams have left the fight for an Olympic berth – the United States and Brazil. Despite a good display in the first round, Jessica Springsteen and Don Juan van de Donkhoeve were replaced by Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue. But, unfortunately, all the members attracted faults in their trip with maximum faults by Ryan completing his ride with 8 faults and 84.86 seconds. The overall score of the team was 9 faults and 253.47 seconds. They were placed fifth after Brazil which had 8 faults in 253.82 seconds. The US jumping team has the Pan American Games to qualify for the Olympics.

The latest clip shared by Fan’s page showed the energy and ambition Jessica has when participating with the national team. Unfortunately despite her first-round effort, the team could qualify, but her performance won the hearts of her fans.
