The Debutante event has attracted 14 juvenile fillies to Del Mar for the ultimate cash prize of $300,000. According to the Paulick Report, among the 14 running the seven-furlong distance, the fans are excited to see how three fillies, in particular, perform. The equestrian world is buzzing with excitement as three top contenders are set to compete against each other. It will be a supreme test of their skill and talent as these three equines go head to head on Saturday. They are Repole Stable’s Pushiness, Dan Eplin’s Dreamfyre, and Spendthrift Farm’s Tamara. All three of these magnificent runners have won their most recent races. Speaking of Pushiness and Dreamfrye, they have won one stake each. Dreamfyre out of Flameaway won the Grade 3 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar on August 12. This was her second victory after her debut at Pleasanton’s minor stakes on July 9.

Pushiness defeated six rivals competing in the CTBA Stakes. Her debut run at Del Mar on August 6 will forever remain in everyone’s memory. Similarly, Tamara is entering the field with one win under her reins at the August 19 race. Her trainer, Hall of Famer Richard Mandella, is confident of her abilities and is sure that she can outshine the competition. All eyes will be on them as they run the course, and the one who reaches the wire first will rise in the estimate of the fans. But the excitement on Saturday does not end there, as the roster has ten more exciting races planned.
