The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) has established itself as the sole base for equestrians, budding and aspirants alike. Holding over 4,250 events under its jurisdiction, the esteemed organization has introduced thousands of talents to the equestrian realm. Among these events, FEI is yet again reaching towards the soaring excitement as the Jumping Ponies Trophy heads to the next destination.

The FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy marked a beginning back in October in Herning, DEN. Today, treading through another course, the event has reached the next destination in Stuttgart, Germany. FEI, excited for the same and more, took to Instagram to ready the audience for the upcoming spectacle.

The equestrian governing body hypes up the audience

From the 7th of December to the 12th, Stuttgart, Germany will capture the essence of young show-jumping stars heading for greatness. It was an emotion shared by FEI who resonated through their post. This week, we’re heading to Salzburg 🇦🇹 for the final qualifying round of the FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy 2023 before the series concludes with the grand final in Mechelen,” the post started. Prepare yourself and ensure you don’t miss a single leap from our upcoming stars in Austria! it further exclaimed.

Throughout the week, the event will host the FEI Pony Trophy Opening followed by the Grand Prix for a draft schedule prize money of 7,500 EUR. For the first day, Ireland’s Kian Dore led the equestrian army with 34.94 in the International jumping competition for ponies with jump-off (1.35 m). As for 1.25m, it was Denmark’s Palma Sophie with 52.80. While the youngsters continue to shine, the FEI stands tall watching the intent reach lengths.

The future of the sport

In the Olympic Agenda 2020, the FEI prepared a framework to increase youth participation in the Equestrian sport. Framing a roadmap, the organization included three areas to focus on. One of which is the development of youth sport and their involvement through social media engagement.

The first edition was marked in 2017 and includes three legs. Following a successful run this season, one will surpass the numbers to emerge a victor in Mechelen, Belgium. Kian Dore currently leads the standings with 40 on board.
