Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates have always been involved in philanthropic ventures. Through the Bill Gates Foundation, they have spread its operations globally. Goalkeepers 2030 is yet another initiative designed by the foundation to recognize and motivate people in the social work field to achieve the seventeen global goals set to obtain sustainable development.
Every year the Goalkeeper 2030 holds an award ceremony to recognize and acknowledge individual contributions made to achieve said goals. This time the award ceremony was held in New York during UN General Assembly week. Bill Gates’s equestrian daughter has supported her parents for their foundations’ incredible work. Recently, she was present at the event and shared her experience through social media.
An eye-opening experience for Bill Gates’s equestrian daughter

The Goalkeeper 2030 award was held recently with many renowned personalities attending it. The event is an initiative of the Gates Foundation and the entire Gates family was present at the event. Recently, Bill Gates’s elder daughter and mother of a 7-month-old took to social media to share her experience at the event. In an Instagram Story, she said ” As a current medical student, future hopeful pediatrician, and goalkeeper myself, this day was simply eye-opening and incredible“.
She thanked Goalkeeper 2030 for giving her this opportunity. Jennifer is an MD candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai and also holds a degree in Human Biology at Stanford University. During the event, she was accompanied by her younger sister Phoebe Gates who managed to do an interview with equestrian’s favorite people.
Phoebe Gates interviewed model Karlie Kloss and author Kathryn Finney. During the event a dialogue and discussion on current and future efforts to achieve the said target of sustainable growth also took place. This year’s focus was on finding innovative sustainable ways to reduce maternal and child mortality rates. For this, the foundation announced to pledge of $200 million to aid in saving the lives of mother and child.
Jennifer Gates through her social media shared earlier the foundation’s effort to develop techs and medicines to help these women. Her mother earlier termed the issue as needles and an ancient problem that could be controlled with the advancement of science and technology. The show jumper supports her mother in this cause and wants to help by becoming a pediatrician.

Jennifer Gates’s pediatrician dream
Jennifer Gates was born into a privileged family and always wanted to give back to society. She grew up hearing about child mortality, polio, and HIV on the dinner table. This created interest in her medicine and her pediatrician inspired her to pursue the dream after showing her a glimpse of how doctors provide support to mother and child.
Her parents always supported her in what she wanted to do in life. The equestrian thought that taking the opportunity and working towards her passion could make the world a better place.

Jennifer Gates’s interaction and attendance at the Goalkeepers 2030 award show gave her an experience she never had before. This broadened her knowledge for which she thanks the event and she looks forward to continuing to pursue her dreams and helping people around the world.
