Roger Varian had won the Group 1 race Prix de l’Opera in the year 2011 when his trained Nahrain ridden by the legendary jockey Frankie Dettori claimed the first position. This year, the famed trainer wishes to repeat that success with the daughter of Dubawi. This will be Al Husn’s third Group 1 race entry after claiming victory in the other two races. While speaking to Racing Post, he said, “She’s in great form“. He further informed that she had galloped in the morning and showed good performance. The trainer observed that the filly ran with the paces in a pleasing fashion. This training gave him confidence that his four-year-old filly was ready for Sunday’s challenge.

Last month, Al-Husn took part in two races, Group 1 Nassau Stakes, and Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks. The filly won both the races with strong performance. Prior to Nassau, Varian didn’t have any idea about the filly but after it he figured out the type of filly is she. She is the one who beats who is in the front and is never flashy. The trainer admires her attitude. The trainer hopes to add another trophy to his illustrious career with the win in the upcoming race.
