While the Middle East already boasts an amazing equestrian history, Saudi Arabia is all set to take a mega-ambitious jump.

According to latest news, the Saudi Crown Prince is investing in a giant equestrian project that will overshadow Disneyland. In fact, he wants to shape his ideas and let them take center stage at the UNESCO heritage site of AlUla.

The equestrian dream called AlMuatadil

The Saudi Crown Prince has proved his abilities as a visionary on several occasions. His royal majesty has now taken up another ambitious project and has decided to build a magnificent equestrian village, AlMutadil. The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) recently revealed the visual plans of the world-class and epic masterpiece. The UNESCO Heritage site will experience a dramatic increase in footfall once the larger-than-life project is completed. The blueprints of the project unveiled that the village will span 2.85 square kilometers of area. In fact, the primary racing area will feature a grand seating area that will easily house 3,000 spectators.

The crown prince also plans to build a grass court and a sand polo field along with an endurance track. The spectacular design of the marvelous project will consist of low-lying units that will blend in with the AlUla hues. AlMutadil will possess sand-colored earthen tones and local minerals would be used to build the interiors. The equestrian village will be built using traditional construction and craftsmanship methods to give everything a royal, but homely feel. This is great news for equestrian fans and enthusiasts alike, as they won’t just have to rely on Aachen anymore.

A probable new companion to Aachen

AlMutadil will boast the most premium and lavish equestrian facilities available on the planet. According to RCU, “These premier facilities will make AlMuatadil a leading international platform for equestrian events, and will give access for riders to the Wadi Al Fann landscape art and sculpture area.” The news has made every equestrian fan happy as they’ll now have an alternative to the brilliant city of Aachen.
