Jessica has been selected to represent the US national jumping team at the upcoming Nation Cup Final in Barcelona, and in her latest update, the celebrated equestrian shares her preparedness for this significant event.

The FEI Jumping Nation Cup Final CSIO5* is set to commence this week, hosted by the city of Barcelona at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. In the finals, fifteen nations will participate in the competition, which not only offers the title and winning trophy but also provides an opportunity to secure a place at next year’s Olympics. The team with the highest placement in this contest, among those who have not yet qualified for the Olympics, will seize that opportunity. Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, the USA, and Uzbekistan are the teams vying for the Olympic spot in this event.

Bruce Springsteen’s daughter is part of the US jumping team that will compete at the event. This is another challenge for her after winning gold in the Longines Global Champions Tour of London. In her latest Instagram story, the music icon’s daughter shared her and the team’s readiness for the Nation Cup Final and to qualify for the Olympics. In the story, all five members of the US team are seen in jumping action with the caption below US Jumping Team Barcelona CSIO5*. US jumping team at the Nation Cup Final

Earlier this month, the US equestrian announced a five-member team for the FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. The US Jumping team’s Chef d’Equipe will be Robert Ridland. The team members are Karl Cook, Laura Kraut, Devin Ryan, McLain Ward, and Jessica Springsteen. Karl Cook was part of the winning team San Juan Capistrano and secured a third place at Langley and Falsterbo this year. The veteran Laura Kraut is a 2008 Olympic gold medalist. McLain Ward is a five-time Olympian and two-time Olympic gold medalist. Devin Ryan is the 2018 FEI Jumping World Cup Final runner-up and also runner-up at this year’s Devon Horse Show & Country Fair.
