Humans and animals can share very special bonds if given a chance. Children and animals especially form very deep and strong connections. Cody’s wish is a rookie equestrian racehorse whose name has been inspired by a special bond he shares with a child. A genetic condition physically challenged the young boy after whom the horse was named. However, his limitations didn’t prove to be a barrier when he connected with Cody’s Wish.

Cody Dorman was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. It is a very rare genetic disorder. He first met the racehorse at the Godolphin’s Gainsborough Equestrian Farm in Kentucky. The boy made the trip through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thus, when they both formed an instant connection, the horse was named Cody’s Wish. Interestingly, this connection goes beyond mutual bonding. In fact, Dorman has the ability to predict the race outcomes of his beloved horse.

Cody Dorman uses subtle head movements to communicate. The movements translate his messages to others via a tablet. However, these limitations don’t deter communication with animals. In fact, their bond is so tight that the young boy can even predict the outcome of the races Cody’s Wish takes part in. While Cody’s Wish has consistently finished in the top three places, this boy has always predicted it with perfect accuracy.

The boy communicated his predictions to his family even without being present at the equestrian racetracks. So far, the boy hasn’t been wrong even a single time. The young boy has now revealed a grand prediction where he said that Cody’s Wish would win his next race. What’s unique about this particular prediction is the fact that Cody’s Wish has his next race at the Grade 1 Whitney Stakes.
