According to JUMPER NEWS, the $32,000 Hermès 1.50m Classic CSI 3* as part of the Winter Equestrian Festival went down on January 20, 2024, in Wellington, Florida, USA. Jordan Coyle, representing Ireland, rode For Gold, a thirteen-year-old gelding foaled by For Fashion and Heraldik and owned by Falkirk Farm, LLC, to victory. This was For Gold’s first show since November, and Coyle didn’t plan to go extremely fast, but their performance turned out to be exceptional.
Despite not planning to win, Coyle and For Gold completed the short track in an impressive 41.97 seconds, leaving eight contenders on their trail. Speaking of his beloved equine companion and gushing about his talent, For Gold, the Irishman Jordan Coyle, shared, “I’ve had him now for about ten months. He’s been nothing but incredible so far, I don’t know if I’ve ever had a horse like him.” The win was enthralling for both Jordan Coyle and For Gold, and their formidable contingents gave notable performances as well.
