Excitements take over the equestrian enthusiasts with the upcoming Longines FWI Jumping World Cup Series. This is a series that inculcates qualifying competitions that take place all over the world and a Final each Spring. This North American League aims to bring nations together and foster lifelong enthusiasm for the world of horses. It is one of the equestrian sport’s oldest and most prestigious team challenges.
This World Cup series has released its schedule and has taken its major decisions. From selecting dates and deciding the venues, they are all set to fire the guns for this season. Eight prestigious venues have been selected by the Federation Equestre International for the 2024/2025 through 2027/2028 qualifying seasons.
Prestigious equestrian venue qualifies for the North American League

At the Federation Equestre International’s board meeting on the 29th of August 2023, the venues were confirmed. This year Ocala was one of the eight venues to be selected by the authorities. It is the only North American venue to host a new Longines League of Nations CSIO5* event. It will take place at the venue from March 21-24, 2024.
According to World Equestrian Center, Ocala is joining seven other events incorporating Traverse City, Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Thermal in the United States. With this, Toronto, Canada, and Puebla, Mexico is also involved in the forming of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup North America League.
Being a 378-acre complex, Ocala’s main aim was to host top-class equestrian events like this. The facility’s 2023 calendar at present inculcates seven Jumping and five Dressage competitions authorized by the FEI. The World Equestrian Center consists of two premier equestrian and multidisciplinary venues in Ocala, Florida, and Wilmington, Ohio. And to see Ocala take a step toward its built-in goal, they are more than elated. The CEO of WEC, Roby Roberts expressed his thoughts on the qualification of Ocala for the North American League.
He stated, “We focus on quality, class and distinction, and we hope that everyone who comes to our venue, either for the first time or as a returning customer, experiences everything that our core values represent.” Furthermore, he said that as more and more international events are getting added to the schedule at WEC-Ocala, they are getting closer to their aim of being the leading equestrian facility in the world.

With this new addition, Ocala has gained international exposure at a very quick pace.
