Dr. Muthumani took the great initiative of teaching new mothers to identify warning signs of pediatric surgical conditions. And Gates being a new mother herself, how could this post not touch her emotionally? Gates expressed, “So Proud of my amazing friend.” 

The post was of The Center for Health Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia (CHESA) which is based at the UCSF Institute for Global Health Sciences. It was an appreciation post for Jenn’s friend stressing the initiative to reduce mortality rates amongst children in LMICs in her article. With her kind gestures, she never fails to stand up for what she supports.
