Jennifer Gates Nassar, the equestrian daughter of billionaire and philanthropist Bill Gates, has made headlines for her career-balancing abilities. With her medical career on the rise, Jenn is also giving medal-winning show jumping performances riding her beloved Donvier aka ‘Paris’. But another equine of hers isn’t going to be in the stable anymore.

Recently, Jenn had clinched a third medal win at the 1.40m Jr/Am jumpers. But little did she know that an unpleasant incident awaited. One of her horses, DreamWorks, who was living his retirement life for 7 years, has passed away. Besides fans and horse lovers hopping to show love, special mention goes to Jenn’s ‘favorite’ American model.

The post of Jenn reads, “Dreamworks (aka “Dreamy”) passed away peacefully at age 28 after 7 golden and happy years in retirement.” When several others felt sorry for the family’s loss, model Karlie Kloss showed her support with red heart and joined hand emojis.

Karlie Kloss has a previously built relation with the Gates family, and the event dates back to GoalKeepers 2030. On a mission to support individuals in sustainable growth, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation had initiated ‘Goalkeepers’. Interestingly, the Gates daughter Phoebe had interviewed prominent figures in the 2023 version of the initiative.

When the New York City-based event witnessed the star-studded stage, Jenn celebrated her sister’s success, saying, “Phoebe Gates interviewing one of my favorite people, Karlie Kloss, and new role model Kathryn.” As per the statement, it was clear that Bill Gates’ daughter is an avid follower or admirer of Kloss.

Having said so, one instance of Kloss’s relation with equestrianism dates back to 2014. In order to encourage and stand by equestrian motives, the 31-year-old once took the sport to magazine covers.

For Vogue US September 2014, Peruvian fashion photographer Mario Testino clicked Kloss for designer Tonne Goodman’s ‘Dark Horse’ edition. The carousel of pictures was proof that the 31-year-old had notched up her game by posing alongside gorgeous equines. The pictures boasted various shades of brown and, beautifully, captured the essence of equestrianism in vintage settings.

In a campaign almost identical to the Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign by Mercedes Benz, Kloss was chosen to feature alongside a striking grey horse. The photoshoot, set in California at the expansive Tejon Ranch, exuded an 80s Hollywood vibe.
