For Jennifer Gates, the Thanksgiving occasion of this season was more than just special. She had the chance to display her gratitude to her newborn baby. She wanted to do that, counting the child’s entry into her and her husband’s lives. Notably, in November this year, Gates dropped a post on Instagram, announcing the birth of the couple’s second child. “Introducing Mia, who was born on our third wedding anniversary 💕 the best gift we could have asked for,” she penned down. Since then, the equestrian couple has spent time with the newborn, leaving other engagements.

For Jennifer Gates, it was concerned about her practice being a pediatrician. She also stopped investing a sizeable chunk of time as the caretaker in Evergate Stable. On the other hand, Nayel Nassar put a stop to his equestrian engagement. The Egyptian snow jumper failed to make it big at the Paris Olympics. But he continued to show up in the fields or the backyard of Evergate Stable. But because of paternity leave, he had to stay away from those equestrian engagements. Now, after almost four weeks, the couple, however, are showing actual signs of making their comeback to their professional lives.

The first hint came from Nayel. On November 29, Jennifer Gates shared an Instagram story, framing Nayel on an equine in a field. The Egyptian snow jumper was shedding sweat in the competition. However, the proud wife couldn’t miss the sight. In her Instagram story, Jennifer captioned the post with lines, “1st yesterday, 2nd today… paternity leave is officially over [emoji].” Nayel’s reply hasn’t come yet. But it ought to be a similar quirky one. However, what does the post deliver as the meaning?

Well, the 33-year-old entered two consecutive races in the last two days. First, on Thursday (November 28), Nassar claimed the CS14* 1.40m opener title, riding on Dorado. However, 24 hours later, the Olympian extended his fairy run. This time, he claimed the runner-up place in the CS14* 1.50m Grand Prix Qualifier. Two colossal achievements back to back! However, a week before, he had not been anywhere close to having such results.

On November 21, 23, and 24, Nayel Nassar competed in three different competitions under the event, CS15*-W in Arcadia, California. But he had to stop away from landing scintillating results. Rather, in three contests, Nassar ended in positions 12, 28, and 16. Now, after almost six days, the show jumper is shining again. That must have elated the proud wife, who is also playing her role as the proud mother. But how?

But the snap tagged with the news was bound to win hearts. The adorable snapshot shows the couple’s older daughter standing beside the crib, looking attentively at her newborn sister. It seemed like the big sister, Leila, had already taken over the responsibility of looking after her little sister. The fans were the first ones to establish the connection, as someone also noted, “This picture 🥹 My heart is exploding.” However, a few times, Jennifer herself deliberately promoted Leila to her new role. During her pregnancy phase, Jennifer Gates shared several pictures flaunting her baby bump and taking Leila by her side. In one such snap, she captioned, “Leila, being promoted to big sister 💕.” The then-20-month-old adorable kid may have no idea about the sisterhood. But the instinct grew there, and being a mother, Jennifer Gates watered it. Now, she is watching how her elder daughter is soaking in emotions and embracing her sister. As a mother, isn’t that something to cheer for? Surely it is. Jennifer Gates is noticing everything falling into place at the same time.
