Ace Impact shone in the colors of Gousserie Racing and Ecuries Serge Stempniak as he blazed down Europe’s premier race course. The bay colt gathered speed in the midstretch of the course, leaving all others in her dust. He is an intelligent horse and knows intuitively when to surge ahead without any prompts from the rider. According to the Paulick Report, her jockey Cristian Demuro said, “The horse was very relaxed and I know that when he is like that, as soon as you press the button, he flies away!” And fly he did, reaching the wire about two lengths before his nearest rival, Westover.

Even Serge Stempniak, the co-owner of Ace Impact, remarked on the magnificent finish, saying, “He is truly impressive and I believe he is very intelligent. Yes, he tenses up but because he knows he has a job to do and he does it very well!” Stempniak was gushing over Ace Impact, knowing he had a winner in his hands. The three-year-old son of Cracksman started racing in January, and since then, he has had six starts and lost none. Now that Ace Impact has won the prestigious Arc, he cannot rest easy as the biggest challenge of his horse racing career lies before him.

The equestrian trainer of runner-up Westover from Sunday’s race has teased the possibility of competing against Ace Impact again. The trainer Ralph Beckett said, “I’m thinking about the Breeders’ Cup Turf now. It’s very tempting. He likes to travel, we saw him in Dubai. It was a good idea to run the Arc, but we were beaten by a very good horse”.
