Churchill Downs Incorporated has announced a thoughtful donation. Home of the Kentucky Derby, they have contributed an inspiring bronze statue titled ‘Against All Odds.’ The statue, made by renowned artist Edwin Bogucki, is to be housed in the prestigious National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. This meaningful addition commemorates a significant milestone in racing history: the first-ever $1,000,000 thoroughbred race.
After being originally unveiled at Arlington International Racecourse in 1989, this remarkable statue will be revealed on July 12.
