It is really painful to witness your equine best friend in pain. Nobody can understand it better at this moment than Daniel Petho. He is an Army reservist and is the owner of a racehorse that was formerly involved in the equestrian community. His horse named Shamadaan is a five-year-old ex-racehorse who was bred in Ireland and has had multiple owners. But Petho is the one that has had him for the longest time. This 5-year-old is his best friend.
Recently, Shamadaan had an accident and faced serious injuries. Petho did not have the resources to help the situation alone. After arranging for help and completing the surgery, he is grateful for everyone who helped his best friend recover from such a terrific situation.

Army Reservist Daniel Petho turned to the assistance of strangers after his horse-faced an unfortunate accident. His horse ran into a fence while running to attain the second position at the Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) National Championships. After getting stuck into the fence, Sham faced horrific injuries and needed surgery for the same.
However, Sham did not have the financial stability to support the surgery on his own. Because of this, he decided to create a fundraising page, hoping for a positive outcome. His decision proved to be absolutely right. People generously donated thousands of dollars, ultimately saving his best friend’s life. According to the Horse & Hound, he received £3,335, surpassing his initial goal of £3,000. Petho was nothing but grateful for all the strangers who came forward to support an unknown individual in need.

He also informed that any extra money from the fundraising will be donated to the ROR. This restored his faith in humanity and gave him a wider perspective of the world. Now his best friend is all safe and sound living his second life given by the good Samaritans.
