Bella Hadid has established a staunch presence in the modeling industry, owning several accolades the field presents. For many years, modeling has been her primary focus though her passion for the equestrian sport lingered around. The young sensation has revealed that she started riding ever since she could walk thanks to her mom’s love for horses. Bella even led her interest to turn into a career with big ambitions. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a smooth ride.

Bella was making stellar progress with her career during her youth. She even dreamed of competing in the sport at the Olympics. However, her Lyme disease diagnosis pushed Bella to give up on the sport early in 2016. Fast forward to 2023, the equestrian was back on the field after her recovery; calling in fans for celebrations over her heartfelt journey.

Bella Hadid makes an equestrian comeback

The model has consistently shared her love for equestrian sports throughout her modeling career, though she couldn’t practice it. But in August this year, she made a comeback into the field participating at Wellington International. “Thank you to all the great trainers and people who allowed me to ride their incredible horse. And my Lucy , Blue, Ami, I love these animals,” she wrote sharing a video clip of herself on a horse, accompanied by doting pictures.

Prior to the post, Bella Hadid revealed that she was ‘finally healthy’ after silently battling health struggles for almost 15 years. Her come-back on the field was a huge win for the model’s equestrian dreams. Her health update is a relief to the fans who have been following her journey for years.

Fans join Bella in her celebrations

Bella’s loving followers chimed in to share their love and pride for the model and equestrian for overcoming the adversities through her life to finally get back to her passion. “Forever proud of you,” a fan expressed. While another shared the happiness with the young icon saying, “I’m so happy for you Bella, you look so happy and that horse is beautiful.”

As the love and hearts poured in for Bella, celebrating her success, people also hoped that they could watch more of the equestrian on the field. “Can’t wait to see you again at WEF ‘24!” followed by, “Come back to Wellington next season.” The love and support were endless for the icon who shed inspiration on her 60 million followers; standing strong and overcoming her battles.
