Simonson has trodden his career path with Son of a Lady affectionately called, ‘Sonny’ for two years now. From the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival in 2023 to the Pan Am, the duo has roamed the equestrian realm well and successfully. And yet today he continues to cherish even the littlest of steps ahead. “Proud dad moments,” Simonson wrote on his Instagram story as Sonny engaged in delicate dressage movements while Relax My Eyes played in the background.

“Sonny is learning a little more each day!” the equestrian wrote in elation. The 12-year-old Danish Warmblood was celebrated by Simonson exactly a month ago for hitting a 2-year milestone. “OFFICIALLY 2 YEARS WITH SONNY,” he wrote adding a soft-faced emoticon to conclude. Simonson’s little gestures of showcasing love towards his equine subtly remind of the youngster’s stalwart regard for the industry. And in doing so earned the industry’s jubilant recognition.
