Tragic incidents are something that can stay imprinted in your mind forever. One such incident has recently shaken the equestrian community. An 18-year-old Amish man took his last breath after a serious farming accident in Lancaster County. A group of horses trampled on him while he was working on his farm.

An Amish man named Aaron Stoltzfus passed away at his home in a very brutal accident. He was rushed to the hospital after the incident and then was declared dead.

Aaron Stolzfus met a horrific farming accident on July 29, 2023, that occurred in Eden Township at Picadilly Hall Road and Stony Hill Road. And here is where he met his death. He was working on his farm, which incorporated horse-drawn equipment, and at that very moment, the team of horses trampled him. According to the coroner, Aaron passed away at the hospital. After the incident, the police were immediately called, and he was taken to the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. He was declared dead one hour after the incident. The incident took place at 2:57 pm and he was declared dead at 3:49 pm.

According to Daily Voice, the reason for death was multiple traumatic injuries, and the way was accidental. This tragic accident did not require any autopsy of the body. It was revealed in his obituary that he was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. His friends, family, and the entire equestrian community were saddened by this mishap.

The 18-year-old’s family and the equestrian family were saddened by his death

Aaron’s family has suffered a deep loss and the worst thing is the way they had to let go of their son. His father Danil E. and mother Katie F. Beiler Stoltzfus, and his five younger siblings were completely broken after they saw him in a bad condition. He also lived with his grandparents, who were completely broken after their grandson’s death.

His funeral service was held on 1st August 2023 at 9 a.m at Bunker Hill Amish Cemetary. All of his friends and family were invited to stop by his place before the funeral. The number of horses involved in the accident is still not known to anyone. All the details will be clear once the investigation is being carried out. This is the second terrifying farming accident that took place in Amish homes in Lancaster County in the span of five days.
