Actress Kaley Cuoco is known to be a highly appreciated and celebrated actress well known for her role as Penny in Big Bang Theory. But what many if not most, miss out on about the actress is her life as an equestrian and an animal rights advocate. For the most part of her life, Kaley has been a horse-girl and has stood up for animal rescue. 

While showcasing her love and regard for humble creatures, Kaley has also found herself turning into a professional trainer and an equestrian. And honoring her passion, the actress took to Instagram to give a sneak peek into her old riding companion, Volcon. 

Kaley shows off her equestrian abilities

On her recent Instagram stories, Kaley shared a video of her riding on one of her horses presenting her show jumping abilities. The video shows Kaley along with her new race-horse practicing jumps in a Jumping arena. Captioning her first of the two stories, Kaley wrote “Slowly but surely…love my Volcon boy” while the other read “And I love you,” “Volcon always there (for) me for so many years.”

According to Ibtimes, the Big Bang Star recently welcomed her new companion back in 2017. The racehorse whom she has named Volcon d’lvriae was transported to Big Bay City by Plain Bay Sales. The duo, since then, has been winning hearts.

It was also back in 2017 that Kaley went with Volcon to perform at the Del Mar International Horse Sho. The duo finished in fourth place with the Low Junior / AO Jumper 1.30m class. Kaley has on multiple instances showcased her love for horses and her passion for equestrian sports.

The Big Bang Theory star is also a big time horse girl

Kaley says that her love for horses was acquired as a child but she only recognized her passion when she was about 16 years old. And ever since, the sport has been at the core. Following her love and concern, Kaley now owns about as many as 25 horses which was at 6 only in 2016. The actress has accumulated a serious bond with the creatures and believes that the sport helps her balance her work-life.

Talking to Hello Magazine, the star explained how being immersed in her hobbies like horse riding has helped her deal with the rejections she faces at work. During her previous interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Kaley “It’s become a very important part of my life, very serious, “It kind of levels me out with this whole Hollywood thing.”

According to Horse Nation, Cuoco also commented that she’d rather be known as the equestrian who acts than an actress who rides. With her surfacing story, we can only wonder if the equestrian is saddling up to make a comeback at the jumping arena.
