This Dressage requires a lot of training and practice, it also requires good cooperation between the horse and the jockey.

The Vice President of the State Of Maine Dressage Association was amazed by Murphy’s equine skills. He expressed his amusement and told the News Center Maine, “Some of us thought she would never ride again, but here she is in the saddle, on her own horse, at a show she’s competing at, at 80 years old, and her horse is 21 years old.”  Murphy’s graceful equine performance credit also goes to her 21-year-old horse. The bond between Murphy and her horse Geartsje, has been there since since Geartsje was two.
