Although she had a fear of heights at first, Lynn’s passion for equestrian sports and interest in trick riding motivated her forward. According to The Daily Independent Lynn first saw her cousin do a trick riding lesson three years ago, and the experience immediately sparked a fire inside of her. The “death drag,” Lynn Boyd’s preferred and most hazardous stunt, is at the center of her extraordinary journey into the world of trick riding. With her head dangling inches off the ground and her horse’s thunderous feet beneath her, Lynn performs her death-defying maneuver. Her mother dislikes this prank the most.”I don’t know if it’s the name or her head so close to the ground,” the concerned mother remarked.
It was difficult to persuade Liza and Dean Boyd to support their daughter’s newfound passion. However, they were eventually won over by Lynn’s unwavering commitment and unrelenting drive to achieve her aspirations. With their encouragement, Lynn set out on an adventure of constant practice, pushing herself to get over her fear of heights and become an expert in the risky tricks that make up the trick-riding world.
Throughout her journey, Lynn encountered difficulties and came dangerously close to suffering a serious neck injury. She overcame challenges and continued to push the limits of what was possible thanks to her love of the sport and determination.
