On 31st August 2023, the renowned jockey Umberto Rispoli fell during his race at the Del Mar Racetrack. He was immediately taken to the hospital. Del Mar Racetrack has shared a video on Twitter where Rispoli has informed about him doing fine after the fall.

Rispoli has received tons of messages and calls after the incident, and he has thanked all of them in his recent video. He said, “Thanks a lot for your kind messages and calls.” He is currently back from the hospital and is at home, he has not faced any major injuries in the accident. Rispoli commented, “Nothing broken, the scan comes out clean.” This is extremely good news for all his fans worldwide.

He is full of gratitude in his video when he thanks everybody for reaching out. The jockey also promises that now that he has not faced any disastrous injuries, he will try to be back as soon as possible. Del Mar Racetrack showed their concern towards the jockey as they captioned the video, “Rest up. Can’t wait to see you back at the paddock.” Nothing can be happier than him being fine after this horrific accident.

Umberto Rispoli’s horrific accident at Del Mar 

Rispoli has been a victim of accidents not just once. He has faced a lot of injuries on his pathway to success. From being tested Covid-19 positive to getting his collarbone broken, he has seen it all. But somehow, he finds a way to share a positive note about all his accidents. His collarbone was badly fractured in the accident, but he stated that the clean nature of the break was good news.

Reportedly, he was unseated from the horse, Single Track Mind after 2 p.m. His horse banged and clipped heals with another horse and Umberto Rispoli was thrown to the ground. He was immediately taken to the hospital by an ambulance and EMTs. And now his news of being perfectly fine has made the equestrian community happy.
