Discovering her passion for both medicine and the equestrian sport, Jennifer Gates has been successful in chasing and pursuing a career in the two.
The 27-year-old only recently graduated from her medical school. Posting her journey online, one could easily catch her interest and dedication in the field. And just as people were getting used to the idea of her being a doctor, Jennifer has another update for the fans. A new story shared on her Instagram profile was a reminder to people that Jennifer is not ordinary.
Jennifer Shares a Glimpse of the Event Day

On Saturday, Jennifer Gates took to her Instagram story to flaunt one of her equestrian accessories ahead of an event. Posting the story, Jenn framed a hairnet and a thank-you card from an equestrian accessories brand. Grateful for the product, Jennifer captioned the post saying, “Thank you @ellsworthofficial_ for the Ponytail Hairnet! Already loving them for show ring and home, and ordered more for myself.” Jenn further also shared a link to the store.
The equestrian’s update comes ahead of an FEI event that the 27-year-old took part in. Riding atop her beloved equine, Donvier also popularly known as Paris, Jennifer contested at the showjumping event. Jennifer’s update varying by lengths over the matter of a day is definitely a wonderment. However, while many marvel at her persisting presence in different fields, Jennifer seems to be balancing it all perfectly.

Continuing on her medical journey, Jennifer is currently receiving her professional training. Completing the 3 weeks of her internship, Jenn, as recently as Friday, took to Instagram to share the same. And a few days in the young sensation can be found back on track. While Jennifer continues with her medical endeavors, she has always made sure to portray her love for equines and her skill for the sport of equestrian.
Gates Marvels at Her Equestrian Career

Jennifer was just 6 when she discovered that she wanted to pursue the equestrian sport. Earning a staunch support from her family, Jennifer hasn’t stopped to look back. Marking her FEI career in 2014, Jennifer won team gold at the Youth Continental, Lexington. Her next win was a silver at the 2016 North American Junior/Young, followed by a win at the 2017 USEF U25 Series Championship.
Jennifer’s biggest career accomplishment was when she represented the United States team at the Nations Cup; in 2017 and 2018, whilst she was enrolled at Standford. In the following year, Jenn won multiple top 10 placings at prestigious 5* events, including Spruce Meadows and the Longines Global Champions. However, as she continued to keep up with her equestrian career, Jenn was forced on an obligatory hiatus following pregnancy. But the inactive period didn’t seem to affect Jenn. Post-pregnancy, the equestrian made a comeback on the field in July and took to Instagram to share the moment.

As of now, according to her FEI profile, Jennifer has recorded a total of 590 starts winning 5 of them. The equestrian currently ranks 2519 in the world ranking and has been awarded the 2018 Lionel Guerrand-Hermes Trophy from the United States Equestrian Team. Continuing further, Jennifer wishes to represent Team USA at Nations Cup events and qualify for the World Cup Finals. With her persisting passion, Jennifer’s journey is one to be inspired by.
