The Christmas Day NFL was a spectacle to watch. Creating new viewership records, Netflix and the NFL had one of the finest outings this year. However, one thing contributed majorly to the peaking of the ratings of the Christmas Day NFL. While the game day featured a total of two games, it was the Beyoncé Bowl that took away the breath of the audience. Garnering a whopping 27 million views, Beyoncé helped the NFL take some giant strides forward.
However, treading happily with the bandwagon, there was Ja’Dayia Kursh, who is Arkansas’ first black rodeo. Hailing from Northwest Arkansas, Kursh was stunned to receive an exciting bit of news. She was asked to feature alongside Beyoncé in the NFL halftime show! Surely, someone like Beyoncé amplifying her voice is a huge deal for a local rodeo queen. And Kursh was well aware. Extending her gratitude, she mentioned that the association has brought her immense respect.
Now, such a collaboration might seem to be quite out of the blue. Except, it was not. Both Beyoncé and Kursh have a longstanding relationship that has brewed for several years now. Speaking to the photojournalist of 5 News, Laura Castleman, Kursh revealed how she already knew the world-famous singing sensation. The rodeo queen stated, “It’s crazy to look back at 2021. Beyoncé had gifted me her rodeo line that she did with Adidas, and then I turn around, and it’s what, three years later, and I’ve done a whole production.”

Surely, this became one of the biggest highlights of her life. Acknowledging the after-effects, Kursh stated that she has already received a significant amount of fame and exposure by featuring in a single Beyoncé album. Having a keen inclination towards the sport, the Arkansas native always wanted to create an impact on the community.
And her dreams finally came true when Kursh became the Rodeo Queen in Coal Hill. Now, with so many more options at her disposal, the rodeo queen wants to continue her good work further. Now, coming back to Beyoncé, she set the stage on fire as she made the stage for her Rodeo at the Christmas Day NFL.

Beyoncé steals hearts with NFL Christmas Day show
Much to the astonishment of the crowd, Beyoncé went on to stage her ‘Cowboy Carter’ for the first time in front of a live audience. Donning an all-white ensemble, the pop queen also sported a cowboy hat and a fluffy coat. However, the biggest surprise came when she was spotted riding a white horse live! The show started with ‘16 CARRIAGES,’ followed by The Beatles’ ‘Blackbird.’ And while this was exciting enough for the crowd, a certain Roger Goodell was perhaps the happiest man.

After all, trying to put together such a massive showbiz wasn’t an easy task. Adamant about his vision, Goodell invested a whopping $150 million to take the NFL’s reach to gigantic heights. And there was no doubt that his plan was utterly successful. Thanks to the Beyoncé Bowl, the NFL recorded a whopping 65 million viewers combined.
Expectedly, the NFL EVP of Media Distribution, Hans Schroeder, looked immensely happy. “We’re thrilled with our first Christmas Gameday on Netflix with NFL games being streamed to a global audience,” said Schroeder. Thus, with Beyoncé putting a smile on almost everything in the NFL, it remains to be seen how well things go for both Ja’Dayia Kursh and the NFL down the line.
