Sometimes the word ‘rivalry’ is wrongly interpreted. Well, if you want to be the best at what you do, having strong rivals around you is quite profitable sometimes. Of course, there’s an added assumption of strife if you are the daughters of two of the richest men on the planet, but like they say, with great money comes greater attention.
Gone are the days when Apple founder Steve Jobs and Microsoft owner Bill Gates were striving to be at the top. This new-age rivalry is between their daughters, Eve jobs and Jennifer Gates. However, their struggle is not to be the best at technology, as their battle is on a different turf.

The equestrian rivalry between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates’ daughters
21-year-old Jennifer Gates and 19-year-old Eve Jobs have a common love for equestrian sports. They both have earned quite a name for themselves in show-jumping and other equestrian activities. The late Steve Jobs’ scion, Eve says, “Competitions are a really great way to meet people from around the world. It takes up a lot of time, and school is definitely hard to balance, but we make it work.”
While Eve’s mother recently bought a $15 million ranch for her daughter’s training, Bill Gates has his own estates with top-notch equestrian facilities. Surely, the two of them have resources in abundance to fuel their interests to whatever extent they want.

Apart from Eve Jobs and Jennifer Gates, musician Bruce Springsteen’s daughter, Jessica is also in the same league. The 26-year-old Jessica is amongst the top show-runners in the country and, in fact, she was an alternate rider for the USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Other notable entities who are into horse riding sports include Monaco’s Princess Caroline, Destry Spielberg, daughter of Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, and Selleck, daughter of actor and producer Tom Selleck.

However, it is only fair to say that it’s more than just a hobby, as most of them are highly skilled professionals, and excellent at what they do, and earned quite a reputation for themselves in the sport.
