With the ongoing Western European League, Olympic gold medallist Ben Maher has left no stone unturned to nail the Longines FEI World Cup victory at the ExCeL arena in London.

The reigning Olympic champion galloped on his horse at lightning speed and looked unbeatable. Leading by a phenomenal 17-point margin, he is the ultimate opponent. As he poses strong competition, he has now secured his ticket to the World Cup Final.

Olympic gold champion Ben Maher of Great Britain has led a very strong field. Fédération Equestre Internationale took to their IG account, @ fei_global, to highlight Maher’s victorious win. Mentioning the breath-taking, last to-go round, it captioned, “London save the best for the last.” After securing the remarkable win in the Ivy States with Ginger-Blue on Friday, Maher accomplished a win in London.

Individual Olympic gold medallist GB’s Ben Maher gave the tough competition to his rivals and defeated Scott Brash in the horse show. As the crowd was cheering with ecstasy, Ben Maher took to winning reigns. “The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup is the class that everyone wants to win here. I feel for Scott because it is hard when you ride such a great round and then the next rider beats you, but it has been the other way around many times before!” Maher commented about the event.

GB’s Ben Maher has defeated Brash in the 2023 London International Horse Show. Strongly competing in five World Cup qualifiers so far, Maher has leaped to podium finishes in four on two different horses. He gained a commanding 17-point lead in the standings as of Sunday at the London International Horse Show.

Ben Maher cherishes victory on social media

After garnering a spectacular victory, Ben Maher is on cloud nine and he took to his social media account and posted several images from the show. The British equestrian captioned the post, ‘’It was a win for Ginger-Blue in last nights CSI5* Champagne Tattinger Ivy Stakes at The London International Horse Show!’’

Besides Ben Maher, double world champion Charlotte Fry, three-time Olympic gold medallist Charlotte Dujardin, and Guy Williams also took part in the horse show. Apart from that, the international contenders including Sweden’s world jumping champion Henrik von Eckermann and European showjumping champion Steve Guerdat of Switzerland also participated in the event.

Soon after, the equestrian’s latest post surfaced on the internet, his fans started congratulating him for his greatest win, flooding the comment section to celebrate his victory.
