If Dave Portnoy is here, can controversy be far behind? That is not what Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote. Bailey Taylor, host and creator of the It Girl series, accused Portnoy of ripping her off. She shared a screen grab of one of Barstool’s Instagram handles, ‘Chicks,’ being rebranded as ‘It Girl.’ Additionally, she also showed her poster on Prince Street and Thompson Street with her brand name and logo. Taylor’s accusations were dealt with sternly by Portnoy.

Dave Portnoy, admittedly, did not want to reply to his accuser, but her comments caught his attention while in a bad mood. He took to his X handle to vent and let loose upon Bailey Taylor. Portnoy launched into an expletive-laden tirade, less to defend himself and more to criticize Taylor.

An explosive response to his accuser from Dave Portnoy

Dave Portnoy tweeted the video of Taylor’s accusation and added his explosive response to the same. He also wrote, “As the kids say this woman is Delulu.” In the video, Portnoy said, “The ego on this absolute f**ing nobody. You think I have a f**ing clue you existed? Because you had the word ‘It Girl’ on a f**ing poster on some random f**ing street in New York City? What are you talking about, you delusional f**k?”

After calling his accuser delusional, Dave Portnoy noted he used a phrase that found its way into common usage a long time ago. He posed the question as to why Taylor did not take the ‘It Girl’ Instagram handle for herself. Portnoy asked, “We knew some f**ing nobody was doing f**ing an ‘It Girl’ podcast that nobody’s heard of, that when you Google it doesn’t even f**ing come up, which by the way, if you ‘ve been doing ‘It Girl’ and invented it, shouldn’t you have the Instagram handle? Not us?” He went on to clarify that he might have acted differently had Bailey Taylor not accused him of ripping her off.

Dave Portnoy added, “The crazy thing about this delusional f**k is that if she just asked me nicely like, ‘Hey! I would love that Instagram handle because I have a podcast that f**ing gets an average of 14 likes per episode,’ I probably would have given her some crumbs. Davey crumbs. But now, f**k her.” Portnoy, at the end, noted Bailey Taylor needs to get much better at her craft to register on his radar. He reiterated he did not know she existed and, as a result, could not possibly have stolen from her.
