Lance Armstrong was once the biggest star in cycling. The cancer survivor introduced endurance cycling to Americans. Despite his fall from grace because of doping, Lance has persevered and moved on. He now works with WEDU, a “content destination” for cycling and endurance sports.

When Armstrong arrived at the WEDU headquarters on December 6, he wasn’t expecting a surprise. However, co-worker and independent photographer Elizabeth Kreutz had other plans.

A surprise awaited the cycling legend

The video captures the unfiltered reaction of Lance Armstrong as he walks into the WEDU headquarters. Moments after stepping into the office, Lance witnesses the fancy Christmas decor. “Oh, my god. What? What is this Sh**?” says Armstrong while taking in the sights. “Whose idea was this?” asks the former cyclist as he walks further into the office.

“It was mine,” Elizabeth Kreutz tells Lance. She then directs Lance to look at the tree she bought for the office. Several times during the video, there are short clips of Liz shopping for Christmas trees. As Lance walks over to the tree, he seems unimpressed. After a barefoot Lance glances at the intricately decorated Christmas tree, he says, “Y’all are f**** amazing.”

However, Lance didn’t expect Liz to decorate his cabin as well. The cycling legend briefly stops before getting inside. “I knew he’d love it!” says Liz. Lance walks in and spots an inflatable snowman in the corner. “Do you like it?” asks Liz. However, Lance doesn’t answer her. The last frames of the video show Lance sitting at his table and working.

However, the former professional cyclist was wearing reindeer antlers on his head, and a red led light on his nose. “I hate Christmas,” Lance exclaims before the video ends.

Elizabeth Kreutz and Lance Armstrong have a history

While most people know about Lance Armstrong and his doping scandal, not everyone knows about Elizabeth Kreutz. The pair have a long working relationship. One of the best sports photographers in the world, Kreutz photographed the 2006 Winter Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics. Kreutz has also clicked several pictures of Lance.
