In an unusual move, ace cyclist Lance Armstrong is celebrating the conclusion of the Christmas season. The former Tour de France champion takes the uncommon path of sharing the return to normalcy from the festive spirits in the most gleeful fashion.

Before becoming a world-class cyclist, Armstrong earned huge accolades as a swimmer and triathlete. In his recent Instagram story, the former World Champion cyclist expresses excitement about the close of the festive season with the evident changes he witnesses in his office.

Armstrong shared his child-like excitement not upon seeing something special, but upon finding that something was not there anymore. In a video featuring himself showing the snowy scenery out of the window, he rejoiced over the snow but directed the viewers’ focus to something else.

“It’s gone,” Armstrong said, pointing at the Christmas tree. “Look; none of the leafy stuff with lights,” the cyclist icon continued as he stood at the reception desk. He moved around to show the tassels, inflatable things gone from the office. “Christmas is over,” he exclaimed. However, the holiday season is no reason to skip the routine for the former Livestrong guy.

Armstrong was shocked

Christmas is most people’s favorite time of the year. Describing himself as a Scrooge, Armstrong pointed out how his family “loves to give me sh**.” He expressed his shock at seeing the life-sized snowman and the other décor in his office.
