Surely, when it comes to the calculation in a game of chess, his skills are equal to that of a supercomputer. For this amazing quality, people often call him a machine. But only Carlsen knows who he really is.
Who will be the next world championship challenger?
Through the FIDE Grand Prix 2022, American Grand Master, Hikaru Nakamura, and Hungarian Grand Master, Richard Rapport made their entry into the Candidate’s Tournament. The winner of this tournament will be the next challenger against Magnus Carlsen for the world chess championship. With Hikaru making a comeback in classical chess after 2 years, it will be a tournament worth watching.

However, all eyes will be on the youngest 2800 rated Iranian Grand Master Alireza Firouzja. So far in his brief career, he has been exceptional and speculations are that he might be the only one that can beat Magnus in the world championship.
